Thanking the Heartland Nova Car Club for joining us during our last training. They generously donated, enabling us to attend trainings, specifically the Illinois Fire Service Institute Explorer/Cadet training in July.
They even got to get hands on in extinguishing fires.
We’ll see you all next year, Father’s Day weekend, at Ballys Casino for the annual car show.

Huge thank you to everyone who has donated and supported the North Scott Fire Explorer program. Support from our community allowed three of our Explorers to attend the Illinois Fire Service Institute Cadet/Explorer training this weekend. The Explorers were put through intense live fire, RIT and VEIS scenarios. They also trained on car extrication and repelling. They gained a lot of knowledge and had a lot of fun. We appreciate the continuous  support from everyone. Thank you!

At tonights training, the North Scott Fire Explorers were joined by new and incoming Explorers. Training consisted of ladder handling, raises, positioning, carrying and climbing teqniques; leg locks and ariel tower operation.

The Long Grove Volunteer Fire Department invites you to an evening of delicious spaghetti and community spirit!
