A reminder that our NorthPark Mall pantry and home office will be closed Monday, Sept. 7, in observance of Labor Day.

We’ll return to normal hours Tuesday, Sept. 8. Please plan your visit accordingly, and have a safe and enjoyable Labor Day weekend!

Today we are celebrating National Food Bank Day!

Our home office is located in Davenport, Iowa, but we have two additional branches one in Dubuque, Iowa and the other in Galesburg, Illinois. Together we feed neighbors in 23 counties across eastern Iowa and western Illinois.

This Labor Day, we celebrate the hard work that keeps our communities moving, and the importance of making sure everyone has the food they need to thrive.

Effective August 31, 2026 our NorthPark and SouthPark mall pantries will have new hours. This adjustment will help improve the service guests receive as well as help the River Bend team accommodate to the increased need.

Updated hours are as follows:
NorthPark (320 West Kimberly Road, Davenport, Iowa):
Mondays: 2 p.m. – 6 p.m. and Wednesdays: 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.

SouthPark (4500 16th Street, Moline, Illinois):
Tuesdays: 2 p.m. – 6 p.m. Thursdays: 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.

“If you build it they will come”

This week we had the opportunity to host an All Hands On Deck packing event at the Field of Dreams movie site.

During this two hour window John Deere employees packed over 1,200 boxes of food – equating to 12,000 meals. John Deere’s partnership with MLB made this day possible to host at the Field of Dreams movie site.

Our mall pantries always need extra hands, and volunteering means more when you do it alongside people you know. Gather your friends, coworkers, neighbors and sign up together.

Group shifts are open:
🍎 Mondays (afternoon) – NorthPark
🍊 Tuesdays (afternoon) – SouthPark
🫐 Wednesdays (morning) – NorthPark
🍐 Thursdays (morning) – SouthPark

"SNAP support is helping us put food on our plates while we both look for jobs. It makes sure we can feed our family while I'm between jobs. We were making things work, but the price of food keeps going up. SNAP support means we know we can buy food, even when money is tight in other areas."
