Our third graders had so much fun becoming scientists 👩‍🔬 this week! Students enjoyed participating in hands-on science 🧪 experiments while making observations, asking questions, and learning through discovery. We loved seeing their excitement, curiosity, and teamwork throughout the experiments! 🧫

TWO firsts in CRCA history!!!! #1: Pre-K joined us for the first House Day of the 2026-27 school year! #2: The House of Adventure 🧡✈️ won the House cup!!! We had so much fun with a little friendly scooter race competition, celebrating our students for demonstrating Responsibility, our Resiliency trait for August, celebrating August birthdays, and honoring the Houses who had the most responsible behavior, positive attendance and Days of Peace! Who’s coming for Adventure in September?????

On Friday, our Safari-goers will be dismissed at 12:30 and Monday is a holiday. We look forward to our Pioneers returning to the Safari on Tuesday, September 8, 2026! Have a great long weekend!

📣 Friday is Early Dismissal! CRCA Pioneers will be dismissed at 12:30 pm. Students may demonstrate House PRIDE by wearing their House shirts for free or pay $2 to dress down. All dress-down funds will benefit staff incentives and appreciation events.

Chess gives students opportunities to practice skills that reach far beyond the chessboard:

🤝 Sportsmanship – Students practice patience, respect, cooperation, and graciousness whether they win or lose.
🌟 Confidence – With every new strategy mastered, students build confidence in their ability to learn and improve.

Our Citrus Ridge Chess Club welcomes students of all skill levels—from beginners learning their first moves to experienced players ready for a challenge.
