Applicants must possess a minimum of five years of experience in governmental management, administrative procedures, accounting, investments and infrastructural projects, and programs normally acquired through the completion of a college program or in related paid work experience within a governmental agency. Salary is $75,692 -$116,450 DOQ. The City of Davenport is currently accepting applications for a Part-Time Airport Manager. Duties include airport operations, grant management, working closely with airport engineers and maintenance coordination. Must possess knowledge of aircraft operation, FAA and airport rules and policies, and AWOS and PAPI maintenance procedures. Advise the Mayor the lease compliance. Must possess a valid Washington State driver's license. This position is not to exceed 70 hours a month. This is a non-benefited position, with no expectation of healthcare or retirement available. Salary range is $30.00 -$50.00 per hour depending on experience.

Dear Property Owner/Resident:
Central Washington Asphalt will be in the town of Davenport, beginning on Monday, July 13th, 2026. Access may be limited during the hours of 7:00 AM and 7:00PM or until work is completed in the afternoon. During this construction project, Central Washington Asphalt will be doing subgrade repair, scrub sealing, adjusting utilities, and painting roads throughout several roads in Davenport. During this project, streets will remain open, but may experience minor delays. Construction signs will be placed prior to work starting, designating intermittent “No-Parking Areas” and will be removed when parking is authorized, so please plan accordingly. Vehicles parked in these areas will be towed at the owner’s expense. During this time, we are not planning on working weekends. We are asking that in addition to no parking, please be sure that all obstructions placed in the roadway such as basketball hoops, bicycles, etc. be relocated and sprinkler systems be turned off from 6:00 AM to 8:00 PM to keep the roadway dry.
On garbage day, you may bring your garbage cans out to the roadway without causing interruptions. Garbage service will remain as normal throughout the entire project.

VACANT POSITION

The City of Davenport is interested in filling a vacant position on the Davenport City Council. Any one intersted in filling the remainder of this two-year term is encouraged to write a letter of interest to the City Council requesting consideration of their appointment. All applications must be residents of the City of Davenport and 18 years old to be eligible.

Letters of interest must be received by the City Clerk/Treasurer, 411 Morgan St. Davenport, WA 99122 by Friday, July 31, 2026, at 5:00 p.m.
