The Lincoln County Board of County Commissioners has issued a countywide burn ban effective immediately for up to 14 days.

🚫 No outdoor burning of forests, grass, range, crops, wildlands, campfires, bonfires, or other materials that could cause a fire.

🌬️ With dry conditions and increased fire danger, please help protect our community, homes, and property by following the burn ban.

When in doubt, don’t burn. Stay safe, Lincoln County! 🚒🔥

We spoke with the City of Chandler, and they confirmed that Davenport is not at risk of losing water service at this time.

They are simply asking everyone to be mindful of their water usage while they replenish the large amount of water used during their recent construction project.

At this time, there is no reason for concern—just a request to help conserve water for the next little while.

The Town of Davenport is now accepting sealed bids for a 2014 Ford Explorer and a 2013 Chevrolet Tahoe.

All sealed bids must be submitted to City Hall no later than Monday, August 10, 2026, at 4:00 PM.
