The Pacific School Foundation/ Parents are helping support Pacific Elementary school by fundraising to support the Lifelab school garden program, the library, the music, theater and visual arts programs as well as teacher grants and appreciation.

From Mr. Gross:
We are going to try to open school tomorrow. I just returned from Pacific School and there is no phone service, cell service seems to work for AT&T but not Verizon, no electricity, no heat, no internet, and no timelines for restoration of any of those services. However, the weather forecast is promising. There are mudslides and trees down along HWY 1, but the road is currently clear. It will be an adventure, but we can do this!

Families:
Please have students dress warmly in case we don't get our furnaces up and running tomorrow.
Snack and lunch will be served.
Students should bring water bottles, so we don't have to worry about washing cups.
Please explain to students that there will probably be no power or heat and they should be prepared for an old-fashioned adventure!

Being flexible and creative in changing conditions is a fabulous life skill, which we all benefit from practicing. I'm so grateful Pacific School is a strong community and we can practice being flexible and creative together!

All students, staff and teachers create a self portrait drawing and the drawings are combined to create one school tea towel. It makes a unique holiday gift. Tea towels are $20 each. If you purchase 3 or more, each tea towel will be $18 each.
We raised $1,597 for the school in Fall 2021!
Orders are for pickup at school only. Cash or Check made out to Pacific School Foundation.
