Caring for our community takes a special kind of person, and for many years Paramedic Division Supervisor Lange has done exactly that. Whether responding to emergencies, supporting patients and families or keeping MEDIC EMS of Scott County in-line, his commitment to serving others has been clear every day. While retirement marks the end of a career, the impact of that service will continue well beyond today.

Due to contractor staffing issues impacting the ongoing renovation project, the Scott County Park Pool will not open as originally planned for Memorial Day Weekend.

At this time, the anticipated opening is the first week of July, pending construction progress and weather conditions.

We understand this is disappointing news for families, visitors, and seasonal staff who were looking forward to the summer season. We appreciate everyoneโ€™s patience and understanding as work continues to complete the project safely and successfully.

๐ŸŠ Swim Pass Information:
โ€ข 2026 season swim passes may still be used at West Lake Beach or the pool once it opens.
โ€ข Individuals wishing to request a refund for a Scott County Park Pool pass may contact the Scott County Conservation office at (563) 328-3280.
โ€ข Passholders may also choose to keep their pass and request a prorated refund once the opening date is confirmed.

๐Ÿ“š Swimming Lessons:
Swimming lessons for the 2026 summer season have been canceled. Refunds for registrations will be issued in the coming days, with additional information sent directly to participants.

๐ŸŒž West Lake Park Beach will open as scheduled for the summer season.

๐Ÿš‘ You may notice a new look on some of our MEDIC EMS of Scott County ambulances. While the design has been updated to improve visibility and safety on the road, it's still the same professional MEDIC team providing the care our community knows and trusts.

As ambulances are replaced over time, both the previous and updated designs will be in service. Regardless of the appearance, it's the same MEDIC team responding when you need us!

๐Ÿ“… Friday, October 24, 7 AM โ€“ Monday, October 27, 6 PM

The intersection of 210th St. and Jersey Ridge Road will be converted to an all-way stop. During the installation of traffic control signs, pavement markings, and rumble strips, traffic will be restricted to one lane and controlled by flaggers.

โš ๏ธ Expect delays and be prepared to stop. Please allow extra travel time and plan accordingly.
