Want your garage sale included on the Citywide Sales List? The Friends of the David City Library are putting together a comprehensive list of local sales!

📣 Get your sale listed!
📧 Email your sale details to [email protected]
📍 Or drop them off at Hruska Memorial Public Library, 399 5th Street

💲 Listing fee: $10
⏰ Deadline: Monday, September 14 at 6:30 PM

Printed copies of the sales list will be available at the City Office, banks, gas stations and local businesses.

🍁 Start cleaning out those closets, garages and basements—and get ready for three days of great finds!

Proceeds support future library programming. ❤️📚

Please note that 2027 city-wide fall garage sales will take place the same weekend as Bargains For You on 92, the last full weekend in August.

Hi,
We are wanting to bring something NEW (and seriously fun) to Butler County…
“Puttin’ Around Butler” – a mini golf crawl where teams travel from business to business playing custom-designed holes.
And we want YOU to be one of the stops!
Here’s the idea:
• Each business creates a mini golf hole (fun > fancy!)
• Teams rotate through your location during the event
• You can offer drinks, food specials, or promotions
• Or simple open your doors for networking!
It’s a fantastic way to:
• Bring in new customers
• Show off your business
• Be part of a high-energy community event
We’ll handle the logistics and promotion—you just bring the fun!
Event Date: Late September, Early October (Saturday)
Time: Late Morning into afternoon, time based on number of holes.
Please respond to this email or call 402-270-9608 and let us know if you have any question but more importantly if you would be interested in hosting a hole. We are reaching out to make sure we have enough interest in holes around the county!
