The David City Water Department will begin flushing fire hydrants today, May 18th, and will continue for the next couple of months. If you experience discolored water, please run all cold-water faucets and outside spigots until your water clears up. Thank you for your cooperation!

Due to increased water usage in town, the Water Department has activated a second pump at the Water Treatment Plant. The operation of this additional pump has caused some sediment to be disturbed, resulting in temporarily discolored water. This issue will resolve with time. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation!

🏆 David City Infrastructure Projects Receive State Engineering Awards

The City of David City is proud to share that two major community infrastructure projects have been recognized with prestigious statewide engineering awards.

✔️ Road 37 Infrastructure Improvements received a Merit Award for enhancing transportation safety and supporting industrial growth in northwest David City.

✔️ Water Treatment Plant Upgrades earned an Honor Award and Category Winner in Water & Wastewater, recognizing innovative improvements that modernized the nearly 40-year-old facility and improved water quality for our residents.

These projects highlight David City’s commitment to investing in infrastructure that supports economic development, public safety, and the long-term needs of our community.
