Along I-85 near Charlotte Motor Speedway, drivers will see a new billboard opposing the nomination of Todd Blanche to be the next Attorney General of the United States.
Blanche, now the acting attorney general after President Trump fired Pam Bondi in April, also previously served as the president’s personal lawyer.
The Senate Judiciary Committee is currently considering the president’s nomination.
Sen. Thom Tillis is a member of the committee, and his vote could determine if Blanche’s nomination advances to a full Senate vote.
Former Attorney General Pam Bondi testified to Congress that Blanche oversaw the release of documents into the investigation of Jeffrey Epstein, now referred to as the Epstein Files.
Blanche told Fox News shortly after becoming acting attorney general that it was time for the Justice Department to move on from the issue.
