We serve over 980 students from Conemaugh Township, West Paint Township, Benson Borough and all of Somerset County. We employ 145 staff members, and operate the Conemaugh Township Area Elementary, Middle and High Schools. We are renowned not only for

our academic acclaim, but also for our athletic achievement as well as artistic endeavors. We provide excellent educational programs for a student body of varied ethnic and economic backgrounds.

Our annual Third Grade Multiplication March Madness occurred in May this year! The entire third grade participated in creating posters, practicing the basic multiplication facts as a team, and encouraging each other to improve. After a competitive double elimination tournament, the “Doritos” battled up through the losers’ bracket to become the 2026 champion. Congratulations to Captain Adler, Everly, Kiyler, and Liam! “Double Donuts” came in second, and the “Sharks” finished in third place. Overall, they were all winners because whether they realized it or not, they ALL improved!
