The color guard was our very own Davie Fire Rescue Department and Town of Davie Police Department combined team. They did phenomenal!

Our final speaker at our noon ceremony on Saturday at Moving Vietnam Wall at the Bergeron Rodeo Grounds in the Town of Davie - Government was Honor Flight South Florida Inc. Very own Bob Atkins! He was a Huey crew chief in Vietnam and has only talked about his experience 1 other time. When he heard our flyover he was instantly transported 9,750 miles to the jungle and went back in time 58 years! Our memories are so powerful and he shared his with us today. To all of our Vietnam veterans, WELCOME HOME !!!

Yesterday afternoon at 5pm we played Retreat and To The Colors at the Moving Vietnam Wall at Bergeron Rodeo Grounds in the Town of Davie - Government . We had the honor of having a Retired Sentinel from the Tomb of the Unknown, Arlington National Cemetery with us. He saluted our flag like we all do!
