Crisis Housing Solutions

Crisis Housing Solutions Mission: "We build healthy communities where people live, work, and prosper." Vision: Everyone has access to a safe, secure home in a vibrant, healthy community.
Crisis Housing Solutions, a Florida 501(c)(3) corporation, was founded over 12 years ago as Adopt a Hurricane Family to provide housing for survivors of Hurricanes Katrina and Wilma. We have since expanded our mission statement to include not only victims of natural disasters like hurricanes but also economic disasters. Our recent focus has been on foreclosure prevention services and assisting those families that are now homeless due to foreclosure or job loss. We have been successful in providing housing solutions for over 700 families. Since our services are provided at no cost to our clients, we rely on the generosity of the community for financial support. While our efforts of late have been focused on support for families impacted by COVID-19, we have not forgotten our friends in The Bahamas still struggling with recovery efforts after Hurricane Dorian. Over the past month plus, good progress continues to be made on our disaster relief models. We hope to have these completed soon and on their way to help our island neighbors!

Experts: Beware of mortgage scammers

Because of widespread uncertainty and lack of clear guidance about mortgage relief options, home loan borrowers will need to be on guard against scams and profiteering if they decide to skip payments because of COVID-19-related financial hardship.

How one Sunrise condo copes with quarantine: Balcony Bingo

There was a condo that had a game and bingo was it’s name-o. At least that’s how it is at one building in Sunrise Lakes, a sprawling condominium community. Tucked inside the expanse of about 2,700 units, just off of the final hole of a golf course and a man-made pond, is building 194 where every...

If you can’t pay your mortgage, here’s what you need to know

The Cares Act was supposed to help homeowners who can’t pay their mortgages — but they could still be on the hook for big lump sum payments. Some lenders haven’t put the newer, more generous terms in place yet.

What to do when buyer won’t come to closing

A national emergency, such as the coronavirus pandemic, does not automatically cancel contracts nor stop the rule of law. You will need to look at your purchase and sale contract to determine your rights.

Hi, I’m a volunteer with The Center for Search and Investigations of Missing Children (CFSI) and we’re asking for your help in searching for a missing child believed to be in your area. Please SHARE to help locate a missing child maybe in your area. Thanks! https://www.facebook.com/NOMADnotfoundyet/photos/a.532345660211642.1073741829.469015469877995/1343103535802513/?type=3&theater
It's a shame when Crisis Housing Solutions is the cause the Crisis and not the Solution. I'm disappointed that you removed the ratings off of FB after my review, people should be able to make an educated choice based on other people's experiences. It appears that the only other ratings and reviews you had were biased because they were from employees, friends and family. First let me say that there is absolutely no logical reason my principle reduction file should have not been concluded in July. This organization has cause an enormous amount of stress and financial strain and wasted time and continue to do so. Their inefficiency, lack of empathy and common courtesy and has had an enormous negative effected my life in every aspect. I have to wonder if this is "personal" for Danielle and Lisa or if all files and people are handled in such an inept way? I am tired of feeling victimized so I am and will be sharing my experience with anyone that will listen. It's time that this organization is accountable for their lack of efficiency, their arrogance and lack of professionalism. Unfortunately the consumer is powerless and has no way to know what standards these organizations d are to follow, we are just expected to do as told, hoping and waiting for some stranger to help you through a difficult time. Well I waited and I hoped for months and it's time to stir the pot. I still have my video that explains some of my experience and distress https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oZoxnvsgs_w however the nightmare continues. My file was supposedly sent to my lender for review on 8/31, over two weeks ago so I followed up with my lender for status and they advised me that they never received anything. I reached out to my advisor letting her know that it was never received. Well, here were go again. She must think that I am either making it up or a complete idiot because she continues to send me her automated - like emails telling me that it was sent and they are waiting to hear from my lender and to refer to my Underwriter/Lender Review Information Form for more information, something she does on a regular basis. I'm tired of doing her job, apparently being related to the co-founder has it's perks...you really need to put much effort into your job. Well Danielle, I once again did all the legwork for you. I have sent you an email with the my lender's contact dept, names and phones numbers so that you can just simply pick up the phone and call them to verily that in fact THEY HAVE NOT RECEIVED MY FILE! Or maybe we should do it your way and wait another couple of weeks....or months before you finally believe that THEY DO NOT HAVE THE FILE! Of course it's not a big deal to you because you are not the one in a hardship, but it is to me and you need to be accountable for you carelessness. I was fortunate to have been provided the email address to supervisor at Florida Housing and I will be sending my experience to anyone that will listen. Thanks for making an already stressful situation almost unbearable.
Block solar heat from loading on shipping containers by simply paining them with Sunshield. Sunshield is more than Just a mere reflective coating. It blocks solar heat from loading and keeps the metal surface at an ambient temperature, that is physically cool to the touch, even on bare metal, regardless of how hot it is outside. The proof is in the performance. It takes less than 5 gallons to cover the container roof. Try and see for yourself. Then post a comment and share the results so others can benefit. Sunshield is part of a technology platform that extends from blocking solar heat to insulating extreme hot surfaces and processes up to 1200F.
