SHAMEFUL: As National Parks Week comes to a close, new reporting reveals Trump is trying to sell off a chunk of Yosemite National Park to a private developer.

National park officials are attempting to broker a deal between a Nevada-based development company and the federal government that would give a portion of Yosemite to the private corporation.

The area being discussed is near an ancient sequoia grove and enclosed by protected national forest land.

This is heartbreaking. America’s national parks are for the people—not for corporations and profit.

Our nation has never fully lived up to Dr. King’s words, yet the American people have never stopped trying to embody his dream of liberty and justice for all.

Decades later, his words still inspire both awe and action, driven by a fundamental belief that a better future for all of America’s children is possible.

The Woodland Police Department is asking for the community’s help locating 17-year-old Jesus Hernan Arizmendi.

With permission from Jesus’ family, we are sharing this information as detectives actively work to locate him. Jesus was last seen during the morning hours of Sunday, August 23, 2026, in Woodland, California. He left his phone and wallet at the residence.

If you have seen Jesus or have any information regarding his whereabouts, please contact the Woodland Police Department Tip Line at 530-661-7850.
