Now serving over four million passengers annually, Unitrans provides fixed route public transit service to the City of Davis and the University of California-Davis. There's a new and improved UC Davis Mobile App for both iOS and Android devices. The upgrade offers improved accessibility, upgraded features, and a modern, maintainable mobile app experience for the university community. The new app also provides Unitrans bus schedule information and real-time bus tracking/arrival information.
If you are using the old UC Davis Mobile app, please switch to the new app as the old app no longer uses the most up-to-date Unitrans bus arrival information.

8/3 HEADS UP! We're still waiting for bus schedules to be delivered to us so that we can get them on the buses and at the terminals. We're really sorry for the inconvenience and truly appreciate your patience. In the meantime, please check the Unitrans web site at unitrans.com, and read our earlier posts for descriptions of the services changes that are effective TODAY, August 3. We also have customer support staff at the MU Bus Terminal to answer any questions you have and get you where you need to go.

🚌Unitrans Service & Schedule Changes start on Monday, August 3! Go to unitrans.com/news for full details. For schedules, go to unitrans.com/routes , click on your bus line, and under "Term", select "Weekday (Summer Session 2)". Physical schedules will be on the buses by July 27.

B Line: The B line will be extended north on Sycamore Lane to the North Sycamore Loop. Service will be discontinued on Drake Drive and Apple Lane. New bus stop will be added on Sycamore Lane Northbound between Kent Drive and Drake Drive. Operates every 60 min. during summer weekdays and 30 min. during academic year weekdays.

E line: Trip times are changed significantly. Go to unitrans.com for new schedule.

F Line: The F line will be adjusted to operate on Catalina Drive. Service will be discontinued on Alvarado Avenue (see new R line below). New bus stops added on Catalina Drive at Anza Avenue, Catalina Drive at Grande Avenue, and Catalina Drive at Anderson Road. Trip times are significantly updated. Operates every 60 min. during summer weekdays and 30 min. during academic year weekdays.

G Line: The G line will only operate during summer night service on Monday-Thursday, weekends, holidays, and break service.

R Line: The new R line will operate on Anderson Road and on Alvarado Avenue east of Anderson Road. The R line will operate every 60 minutes on summer weekdays and every 30 minutes on weekdays during the academic year.

J & W Lines: The first inbound morning trip will operate 10 minutes later.
Other minor changes: There are minor +/-1 minute timepoint changes on the A, E, K, M, O, T, U, V, VL, and Z lines.

Remember ZipPass is retiring on June 30!!! Starting July 1, please make sure to show your physical bus pass to the driver or conductor or pay the $1.50 cash fare. For UC Davis undergrads, your bus pass is your UC Davis student ID. If you need to buy a physical bus pass, you can buy them at the UC Davis Store on campus or in downtown and the Unitrans Business Office located in South Hall, Room 5. If you use a mobile Access or Youth Pass and can't find your physical pass, please contact Unitrans at [email protected] or 530-752-2877 for a replacement pass. Davis-only single ride and monthly passes that are valid on Unitrans buses can now be purchased in the Transit Connect app! This app is replacing ZipPass, which has been phased out.

You can download Transit Connect on Google Play or the App Store. To purchase Yolobus Davis-only passes that are valid on Unitrans, open the app, select “Purchase a New Pass,” and tap “Yolobus Tickets.” These passes are available in the Single Ride and Monthly Pass sections.
