Good luck on Finals!!!
Finals Service operates Friday, June 5 - Thursday, June 11.
Spring weekday service continues into finals week with additional late-night trips on the C, D, F, J L, P, Q, W, V, and Z lines. Regular V line operates every 15 minutes. No VL or VX service. Night service operates on Friday, June 5. All service operates fare-free on finals week.
Summer service starts on Friday, June 12. Most lines have less service compared to the academic year. Go to unitrans.com/routes for schedules.

Do you use ZipPass for your Unitrans bus pass? ZipPass is retiring on June 30. Starting July 1, please make sure to show your physical bus pass to the driver or conductor or pay the $1.50 cash fare. For UC Davis undergrads, your bus pass is your UC Davis student ID. If you need to buy a physical bus pass, you can buy them at the UC Davis Store on campus or in downtown and the Unitrans Business Office located in South Hall, Room 5. If you use a mobile Access or Youth Pass and can't find your physical pass, please contact Unitrans at [email protected] or 530-752-2877 for a replacement pass. As recommended by the City of Davis and Unitrans Short Range Transit Plan (SRTP) effort, Unitrans is proposing to implement North & Central Davis service changes proposals effective August 3, 2026 and modify "break" service levels during winter and spring breaks. Proposals were initially shared in fall 2025 and have been modified based on feedback. For more information, go to unitrans.com/news.

Weekday Service Change Proposals:
B Line: Extend route north on Sycamore Lane to the North Sycamore Loop. Service discontinued on Drake Drive and Apple Lane. Every 30 minutes on weekdays during the academic year.

F Line: Adjust route to operate on Catalina Drive and discontinue service on Alvarado Avenue and Anderson Road south of Catalina Drive. Every 30-40 minutes on weekdays during the academic year.

G Line: Route will only operate on weekends, holidays, break service, and summer night service.

R Line: New bus line on Anderson Road and on Alvarado Avenue east of Anderson Road. Every 30 minutes on weekdays during the academic year.

No weekend changes are proposed.

No South Davis, P, or Q line service changes will be reviewed or considered at the May 11, 2026 meeting. The full SRTP will be reviewed in August/September 2026.

The City of Davis Transportation Commission will hold a public hearing to review the service change proposals detailed below, review and hear feedback, and vote on the proposals on Monday, May 11 at 6:00 PM. The meeting will be held at the Community Chambers at City Hall located at 23 Russell Boulevard, Davis, CA 95616. Feedback provided via email, telephone, and written letter will be shared at the Commission meeting. Headed to Lawntopia on Friday, May 1? For service TO Lawntopia, take the Unitrans D, V, VL, or VX lines to the Hutchison Drive at Health Sciences Drive bus stop!
After the event, the Unitrans C, D, J, L, V, W, and Z line buses will be lined up on La Rue Road in front of the Stadium. Buses will depart once they are full or once the concert has cleared.

Picnic Day is almost here! On Saturday, April 18, Unitrans will operate weekend service with more frequent buses and detours. Service will start at 8 AM and end at approximately 7 PM. A valid fare or pass is required to ride. For non-undergrads and non-passholders, purchase our $2.75 unlimited use Picnic Day Pass, available exclusively through the ZipPass app! Expect crowded buses and delays.

Do you board at The Green/Tilia Roundabout bus stop on the VX, V, and U lines?

Starting in Spring Quarter, to help speed up the boarding process at The Green/Tilia Roundabout, we're requesting that customers form two lines. The new yellow lines and decals show you where to form the two lines.

When a double decker bus arrives and a conductor is present, one line will enter through the front doors, and one line will enter through the rear doors.

When a single deck bus arrives (or when a conductor is not present on a double decker bus), both lines will enter through the front door. One line will merge into the other line as shown by the decals.

We hope this new procedure helps speed up your ride!
