Hey Aggies! Join us next weekend for our annual "Stuff the Bus" event as put on by Unitrans and Davis Food Co-op in support of our very own ASUCD Pantry!

A vintage Unitrans London double-decker will be on display at the Davis Food Co-op and volunteers will be receiving food donations from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 12, at the Davis Food Co-op, 620 G St.

Children and adults alike are welcome to enjoy the view from the top deck of the bus as they drop off their donations. Ten-ride Unitrans tickets will be given to the first 50 donors.

All donations received will be delivered to the UC Davis Pantry to assist those in need in our campus and city community. Needed essential items include new shampoo, conditioner, body wash and bars of soap; canned or boxed meals; gluten-free grains like quinoa and buckwheat; canned fruit and vegetables; canned or dry beans; canned soup; low-sugar cereal; rice; whole grain pasta — and please don’t forget the peanut butter and similar items.

Meet Sean Kumar, a past ASUCD Senator‼️
- -
Sean is a fourth year studying Biochemistry and Molecular Biology.
"Being a STEM major, I felt like a fish out of water when I initially joined the table; however, exposing myself to a new environment was refreshing and enriching. I worked with impactful organizations like the Campus Center for Environment by passing Senate Bill #36, the Mental Health Initiative by advocating for accessibility to mental resources, and many more. I spoke out for causes I was passionate about and worked to improve my peers' campus lives; serving on the table was an experience I will never forget.”
