Last night's Board meeting celebrated our Blue Devil Winter and Spring Championships!
đź“Ł Competitive Cheer competed in Las Vegas in January and took home their 4th consecutive JAMZ National Championship.
⚽Boys Soccer captured the 2026 Sac-Joaquin Championship and made it all the way to the CIF NorCal Regional Finals.
🏸Badminton won the Sac-Joaquin Section Title and stretched their undefeated league streak to 48 consecutive wins.
🏊‍♂️ The Boys Swim and Dive team won the SFL League Championship, finished 3rd at the Sac-Joaquin Section meet and sent 6 athletes to the CIF State Meet. The Girls Swim and Dive Team won the SFL League Championship as well as the Sac-Joaquin Championship.

🎉 Congratulations to our Yolo County SELPA CAC Award recipients!

Last month, the Community Advisory Committee recognized outstanding individuals and programs serving the special needs community throughout Yolo County.

Sarah Brown, Paraeducator at Da Vinci High School, and the Youth Action Research Team at Emerson Junior High School - Britany Rey Salazar, Maya Clossick, Emma Hoss, and Josephine Eberle - were honored at this year’s awards ceremony.

On Monday, the Yolo-Solano Teacher Intern Program graduated 27 teachers who completed the Education Specialist and Multiple Subject Intern credential program. Teachers, mentors, family members and district staff attended the graduation event and celebrated the hard work of our intern teachers as they completed their two-year teacher preparation program.

The YSCTC Teacher Intern program is Yolo and Solano County's local teacher preparation program for the Education Specialist and Multiple Subject Credentials. Accredited in 2018 by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing, YSCTC supports local school districts in addressing the teacher shortage. To date, over 120 teachers have earned their preliminary teaching credential from YSCTC and over 42 teachers employed by DJUSD have participated in the program. We are proud to celebrate our recent graduates and grateful to serve and support school districts in Yolo, Solano and beyond!

Over 175 family members, staff, students and community members gathered on Saturday, May 30 at Harper Junior High to celebrate the 25 graduates who were able to attend the 10th Annual BSU Black Graduation Celebration. The Sankofa Celebration - organized by DJUSD's Black Staff United in partnership with community leaders - honored elders and ancestors and DJUSD alumni while lifting up the voices, accomplishments and futures of these Davis High, Da Vinci, King and DSIS graduates.
