⚠️ ATTENTION ⚠️

Even though we are not currently under a burn ban, we kindly ask everyone to postpone any activities that could potentially spark a wildfire.

Conditions remain dry, and it only takes one spark to cause serious damage to property, livestock, and our community.

Please use extreme caution and help us keep Murray County safe.

Thank you for doing your part

Near critical to critical fire weather danger continues today and Thursday. Fire weather conditions will expand eastward across a larger part of Oklahoma as high winds combine with low humidity across most of the state. A Red Flag Warning is in effect again today.

Please continue to postpone any burning or activities that could spark a wildfire.

🔥 A Huge Thank You from the Davis Fire Department

Yesterday’s long structure fire was a tough one, but our community showed just how strong and supportive it truly is. We want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to all the local fire departments who responded and worked alongside us — your teamwork and dedication mean the world.

We also want to thank our local citizens for the incredible outpouring of support — from donating water, food, and supplies to checking in on our crews. Your kindness kept us going through a long and challenging day.

It’s moments like these that remind us what community is all about.
Together, we’re stronger.
