Week 2 of Seated Tai Chi!

We’re back for another wonderful week of Seated Tai Chi for Arthritis at the Terrell County Public Library!

A big thank-you to everyone who joined us for our second class. It’s great to see our participants staying active, learning new movements, and enjoying time together!

Water Service Temporarily Unavailable

We apologize for the inconvenience, but our water services are temporarily unavailable at this time. We appreciate your patience and understanding.

August 11, 2026

The City of Dawson is notifying residents and businesses of a temporary interruption of water service due to a ruptured water main located at the Meadow Run Apartment complex.

Water service will be temporarily shut off while City crews make the necessary emergency repairs.

The following areas are expected to be affected:

• Meadow Run Apartments
• Oak Creek Apartments
• Autumn Crest Apartments
• Businesses located in and around the affected area

Residents and businesses in nearby areas may also experience low water pressure or a temporary loss of water service while repairs are underway.

City crews are working to repair the damaged water main and restore water service as quickly and safely as possible. Water service will remain interrupted until the necessary repairs have been completed.

The City of Dawson apologizes for the inconvenience and appreciates the patience and cooperation of our residents and business owners while this emergency repair is completed.

Everyone had a wonderful time learning gentle movements that promote balance, flexibility, and overall wellness.

If you missed this week's session, don't worry! The next class will be held next Wednesday at 11am - 12pm and will continue every Wednesday thereafter. We would love to have you join us!

We look forward to seeing both familiar and new faces each week!
