Hall County Sheriffโs Office (HCSO) investigators are asking the community for information in their search for the man accused of murdering an Oakwood woman Thursday night, July 16, at a convenience store on Mountain View Road.
The suspect, identified as Antwane Sintell Thurmond, 45, of Oakwood, is wanted on charges of malice murder, felony murder and aggravated assault under the Family Violence Act in the fatal shooting of Tia Vidon Keith, 44, at the Subhanallah Food Mart. Thurmond is the victimโs former live-in boyfriend.
HCSO investigators, Patrol Division deputies and the Warrant Service Unit, assisted by several other law enforcement agencies, have actively tracked Thurmondโs movements since the crime occurred.
Investigators recovered the vehicle Thurmond was originally in after he left the scene. They also executed a search warrant at a house in Metro Atlanta as part of the investigation. While the search turned up some evidence, Thurmond remains at large, and investigators believe he is moving around to elude capture. Investigators do not have information about the type of vehicle he may currently be using.
Thurmond is described as 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighing approximately 212 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes. Thurmond has multiple tattoos, including a neck tattoo reading โROMANS 12:19.โ He also has a prosthetic lower left leg and walks with a slight limp. He is considered armed and dangerous.
