Dawson County Family Connection Community partners committed to strengthening children, families, and the community.

A few examples of programs that were created at the Family Connection table are: school-based health clinics, school resource officers, the Mentoring Program, Prevent Child Abuse Dawson, Church Alliance of Dawson County, Dawson Against Substance Abuse, and Growing Bright Stars (a kindergarten readines iniative).

☀️🍎 SUMMER NUTRITION PROGRAM 🍎☀️

No child should go hungry during summer break.

We are grateful for the partnership between the Dawson County School System and The Place to provide a comprehensive Summer Nutrition Program for Dawson County families!

This summer’s program includes:
✅ Free breakfast & lunch meals
✅ Weekend meal distributions
✅ Mobile food pantry opportunities
✅ Multiple convenient locations throughout Dawson County

Families can access support at:
📍 Dawson County High School
📍 Riverview Elementary School
📍 Dawson County Middle School
