While you were sleeping, Liberty County ESD3 VFD was dispatched to a missing person in the area of the Trinity River National Wildlife Refuge champion Lake unit. Personnel immediately began deploying units to perform a wide area search operation utilizing personnel and Drone Operations . After extensive searching on foot and by UTV. The missing person was located and all units returned to service

UPDATE: The pup has returned home. Thank you everyone who shared.

Is this anyone's pup? Storms today got her scared. Came to our station for shelter. Come by and claim her if she's yours and get her back home safe.

At 19:45 pm tonight, Liberty County ESD #3 VFD was dispatched to a car fire at FM 1409 and CR 444. Squad 88 arrived on location and reported the vehicle fully involved and that everyone had made out of the vehicle safely and no injuries reported. Engine 88 arrived and deployed the bumper line and made a quick knockdown of the fire. Units remained on scene and worked traffic till the vehicle could be removed by towtruck. All units back in service.

Last night around 8:20 pm, your Liberty County ESD #3 VFD was dispatched to a vehicle on fire in a backyard. Engine 88 arrived on location to a vehicle with heavy flames coming from the engine bay. A fast attack was made and the fire was extinguished before it spread any further.

Later that morning at 12:30 am, we were dispatched to mutual aid Mont Belvieu Fire Department with a 18 Wheeler Fire. Tanker 88 responded with 2. Tanker arrived on location and began supplying water while crew went forward to help with salvage operations. All units returned to service around 3am.
