ATTENTION:

We will be canceling Dayton Summer Bash due to lack of interest to focus on an event that will be more beneficial to the general public. On Saturday October 24th, 2026 we will be hosting a 5K run/walk at Manhattan Harbour. Check in will begin at 8 am with the event beginning at 9 am. All individuals of all ages are welcome to join us! Anyone under the age of 18 will need to be signed in by a parent or guardian. The entry fee is $35. All proceeds from the event will be donated to the American Cancer Society. Registration is available by using the QR code at the bottom of the flyer or at daytonky.com/dayton-police-department-5k-fun-run-for-breast-cancer-awareness/

One of our sponsors, St. Elizabeth Healthcare will be present at the event utilizing their Mammography van, providing screenings for those who are interested. The goal of event is to remember those whom we have lost, support those who are currently battling cancer and fighting for a better future for our loved ones.

Appropriate costumes may be worn to the event. You are not required to run, you may walk. This event is all about having fun, supporting our local communities and providing care and support for those who need it.

If you are unable to attend the event, but wish to be a part of the event and donate, you have that option as well at the bottom of the registration page. There is a drop down box to select to donate or participate in the event. Once you register, you will receive an email from City of Dayton, Kentucky City Clerk, Tristan Klein with a link to pay your registration fees. After the event is over, our gracious host, Blue Catty's at Manhattan Harbour Marina will be hosting a dine and donate event. We look forward to seeing you all at the event!
