In recognition of Child Abuse Prevention Month, Bridgehaven Children’s Advocacy Center launched our Partner Agency Council this month.
On April 20, 2026, we held our inaugural meeting where we brought together leadership across our multidisciplinary team (MDT) to focus on system-level work.
This council creates space to:
• Review data and trends 📊
• Identify gaps in access to services 🔍
• Strengthen coordination across partners 🤝
• Review legislative or agency changes that may impact our work ⚖
This matters because when we are aligned, the children we serve receive a more coordinated and timely response.
This kickoff meeting included representatives from our following MDT partners:
Harris County Precinct 3, Liberty County Sheriff's Office, Universal Agape Love, Cleveland ISD Police Department, Liberty County, Texas District Attorney's Office, Christus St. Elizabeth’s Hospital, Dayton, Texas Police Department, Chambers County Attorney's Office, Mont Belvieu Police Department, Cleveland Police Department, Chambers County Sheriff's Office, and Liberty Police Department.
Thank you to the Dayton, Texas Police Department for hosting our PAC meeting.
We look forward to continuing this work together.
