Thanks to a donation from Ticket to Dream Foundation and Baby2Baby we were able to help 13 families and 22 kids with diapers! Here are some words of gratitude from our parents:

"Donations of essentials allow us to use extra funds for fun experiences for the kids and just makes fostering more rewarding. Also very thankful for those donating to help us provide all we can for these fabulous kids during a tough time in their lives."

A huge component of our independent living program is getting and maintaining a job. While some youth work full time, many work part time while attending school. Miss Renee shared with us that 98% of her caseload is currently employed. We're cheering for your success.

Last week our foster care team hosted an event for our families! The air definitely had a chill, but everyone enjoyed a bon fire, hay rides and community connection. These events are important to us an to our families to help shape our support system. Thank you to all who could attend and to our staff for planning!

3. Begin attending training (RSVP here: choicesohio.org/events )
4. Submit an application
5. Complete paperwork & background checks
6. Complete interviews with an assessor.
7. Pass a safety audit on your home.

It’s a great day when we get a call from one of our Transitional Age Youth sharing exciting news - he’s been accepted to the University of Cincinnati! Our staff described his joy and excitement as absolutely contagious. After taking a gap year to plan his next steps, he’s ready to take on college life. We couldn’t be more proud!
