Liberty High School is a public charter school in a newly renovated facility that uses innovative academic strategies to engage students in the learning process. We are recognized by the the Ohio Department of Education as well as nationally accredited by the Advanced Accreditation Commission and Board of Trustees by the North Central Association Commission on Accreditation and School Improvement.

We are committed to meeting students where they are and then helping them work at their own pace to achieve academic and personal success.

📚🌎 Meet Mr. Hayden Corr, Liberty High School’s Social Studies Teacher!

Mr. Corr is entering his fifth year in education and is bringing a passion for history, real-world experiences, and relationship-building to the Liberty family! Before joining Liberty, he spent four years teaching 6th-grade Social Studies and previously worked in the nonprofit sector and Christian ministry.

For Mr. Corr, one of the best parts of teaching is watching that “light bulb” moment happen—when a student finally connects with the material, understands it, and feels proud of what they’ve accomplished. 💡

And when it comes to history, Mr. Corr has plenty of personal experience to bring into the classroom! Having lived in Poland and England and traveled to 17 countries, he hopes to show students that history isn’t just something found in a textbook—the past directly shapes the world we live in today. 🌎📖

His goal this year is for every student to discover at least one piece of history that genuinely interests them and learn how to connect it to their everyday lives.

With a commitment to honesty, integrity, strong relationships, and making history meaningful, we’re excited to welcome Mr. Corr to the Liberty family! 🎓✨
