Nancy is being recognized for her work on restorative justice, her work teaching incarcerated students and students transitioning out of the prison system, and the kaleidoscope of community-engaged projects she's developed here at the Fitz Center!!! A very eventful weekend for the Fitz Center and the River Stewards as the RiverMobile exhibit officially installed at the Boonshoft Museum of Discovery! The Rivers Institute also facilitated a presentation and discussion with high school students about water, rivers and earth day at the Dayton International Peace Museum.

Join fellow students, faculty, and staff in a reading of Matthew Desmond’s Pulitzer Prize-winning book and New York Times Best Seller, Evicted: Poverty and Profit in the American City. Princeton sociologist Desmond follows eight families in Milwaukee as they struggle to keep their homes in the face of financial hardship. This program is associated with the Imagining Community Symposium and continues exploring its theme of housing justice and flourishing neighborhoods.
