Jefferson Township Administrative Offices Jefferson Township has a population of about 6787 with some businesses located on Rt. 35. Most of the Township west of Union Road is rural.

The Township has three parks, Blairwood, Charles Richardson and Arthur Fisher that offers play grounds, walking trails, fishing and picnic areas. Possum Creek Five Rivers Metro Park is also located within the township.

•The Jefferson Township Board of Trustees meeting originally scheduled for January 1, 2013 has been rescheduled to Wednesday, January 2 AT 7:00 P.M. at the township hall, One Business Park Dr.
•Jefferson Township Fire Department has purchase new Jaws of Life
•The Drexel RTA Turnaround is being updated as a result there will be a temporary bus route until completion.
