As far as benefits go, one of the military’s all time greatest hits is the VA Home Loan! This benefit allows you to buy a home without having to fork over the usual 10-20% down payment on a house, which is one of the biggest reasons why young adults aren’t capable of buying their first home when they want to. The VA Home Loan allowed me and many other service members to buy a home in their 20s!

🚨Shout out to the Fourman brothers! Aaron Fourman and Marcus Fourman both made the decision to serve their state and country as part of the Ohio Army National Guard!
Aaron enlisted as a 91B Wheeled Vehicle Mechanic 🧑‍🔧on September 8, 2025. Marcus later followed in his brother’s footsteps, enlisting this month as a 74D CBRN Specialist ☢️! After their completion of training, they’ll be serving together with the 1487th Transportation Company!
