With warmer weather approaching, we want to remind everyone to take simple precautions to protect their vehicles. Please make sure your car is locked at all times and never leave keys inside.
Last night, officers responded to reports of individuals attempting to enter vehicles in a township neighborhood. Officers located a suspicious vehicle and it was later confirmed that the vehicle had been stolen from a neighboring jurisdiction. The investigation is still ongoing.
Incidents like this tend to increase as temperatures rise. A quick reminder: Lock it or lose it.

“I continue to encourage everyone to stay home this weekend unless it’s absolutely necessary to be out,” Governor DeWine said. “We’re expecting the roads to be treacherous in some places, and if you crash, first responders may not be able to get to you quickly.” - Governor DeWine
