On Monday, September 28, 2026, Good Neighbor House will host the “Hole in One for One Big Impact” Golf Tournament at the Country Club of the North in Beavercreek. This event helps provide food assistance, medical care, and dental services for neighbors across the Miami Valley who need it most.

Whether you want to golf, sponsor a hole, promote your business, or simply support a meaningful cause, there’s a way to get involved at every level.

May 28th is Menstrual Hygiene Day!✨ A lot of neighbors do not know this, but if you visit our food pantry you can also ask for menstrual hygiene products because nobody should ever have to go without them. Period. (Literally.) Just make sure to ask at the door when you pick up your groceries. We kindly ask that requests happen during your pantry visit so our line does not turn into the Daytona 500. 🚗💨 We are happy to help and want everyone to leave with what they need! ❤️

Huge shoutout to the Dayton Police Department for the save today! While finishing up the parking lot for the Dayton Dragons game, one of our employees locked her keys and phone in the car, immediately achieving a level of “why is my life like this” energy.
She had two toddlers with her, who were present mainly for morale and commentary, not solutions.
She waved down Dayton Police that she saw, and they showed up and handled it fast like it was just another Tuesday. Keys recovered, crisis over, and the car officially released from its very short-lived prison sentence.

Rain or shine, our volunteers SHOW UP! ☔️💚Look at these amazing hearts out in the pouring rain passing out fresh produce to our neighbors with smiles on their faces! It takes a truly special kind of heart, dedication, and compassion to serve the community no matter the weather. We are so grateful for every single volunteer making a difference today! 🌧️🥕🍎

Hey neighbors! We will be CLOSED on Memorial Day in all departments, so it’s important to stop by today for pantry items and to get any appointments scheduled before the holiday!
