๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ๐ˆ๐ง๐๐ž๐ฉ๐ž๐ง๐๐ž๐ง๐œ๐ž ๐ƒ๐š๐ฒโ€“ itโ€™s always a special day but this year we are all experiencing July 4 in a deeper way. I hope you are all feeling an intense realization that we live in the greatest country on earth. American Exceptionalism is real โ€“ not just because of our beautiful scenery, vast resources, and great people, although those things do make us special. America is exceptional because of all countries on earth, our nation alone was founded on ideas. Our rights come from God. Our Constitution secures these rights. Americans are free to accomplish anything if they are willing to take their God-given talents and use them. We are a nation of laws, not because they are decreed by a monarch or dictator, but because โ€œWe the Peopleโ€ through our representatives make our own laws. We are strong because our military fights to protect our nation and our ideals. Because we are a free people, there are no boundaries to hold us back. Generations of inventors and entrepreneurs have given us the greatest standard of living on earth.

Two hundred and fifty years ago Americans met in Philadelphia and declared, through our Declaration of Independence, that we were a free and independent country, that we were no longer subjects of the British Crown. They forged a new government for a new nation, pledging (and in most cases losing) their โ€œlives, their fortunes and their sacred honor.โ€ We owe a debt of gratitude to our Founders, and to all the men and women who came after them to build and protect our nation, in times of war and in times of peace. May we all rededicate ourselves to the United States of America, and as Abraham Lincoln said, โ€œthat this nation, under God, shall have a new birth of freedomโ€”and that government of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not perish from the earth.โ€

Let us all celebrate Americaโ€™s 250th birthday in every way possible, but while we are celebrating, letโ€™s rededicate ourselves to doing our part to preserve this great nation. God Bless America!

Atlantic Federated Republican Women were honored to welcome Mark Murphy, Chairman of Lost Voices of Fentanyl, as our guest speaker at this monthโ€™s general meeting.

Mark shared the heartbreaking realities of the fentanyl epidemic and the devastating impact it continues to have on families and communities across our nation. Through the work of Lost Voices of Fentanyl, he is helping raise awareness, advocate for change, and give a voice to those whose loved ones have been lost to this crisis.

Thank you, Mark, for your powerful presentation and for the important work you do every day. We appreciate you taking the time to educate and inspire our members.

The Atlantic Federated Republican Women and the Heart of Florida Federated Women celebrated Americaโ€™s 250th birthday yesterday at the Palmetto Club! ๐Ÿ‘ โ™ฅ๏ธโœจ

Over 90 members and guests joined us for an evening filled with patriotism, fellowship, and fun. The celebration featured a delicious BBQ dinner, dancing, lawn games, a presentation by the Color Guard, birthday cake, homemade pies, and even a special appearances by Betsy Ross & Uncle Sam.

As we begin the journey toward Americaโ€™s 250th anniversary, it was a wonderful opportunity to reflect on the courage, sacrifice, and vision of those who founded our nation while celebrating the freedoms we enjoy today.

Thank you to everyone who attended and helped make this memorable evening such a success. God Bless America! ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ

The AFRWC commemorated a significant achievement with a triumphant tea fundraiser on Monday, May 4. Our host, a friend of AFRW, opened her lovely home to us for the afternoon. Her hospitality fostered a sense of camaraderie and propelled momentum for the election year ahead. We extend our gratitude our host and to member Becky & David for preparing the most delicious tea, sandwiches, sweets and scones! ๐Ÿซ– ๐ŸŒบ ๐Ÿฅง
