Today we had a ceremony for five of our residents that were veterans of the American Revolution. One of those was a founding compatriot of the Florida State society. Representatives from SAR (Sons of the American Revolution), DAR (Daughters of the American Revolution), and CAR (Children of the American Revolution in) were represented.
Included in the ceremony were pledges, a color guard, grave marker dedications, a wreath presentation, and biographies.
Just as we ended, an eagle flew over the cemetery 🦅🇺🇸♥️.

Four headstone restorations were done this weekend. If you are visiting and see headstones laying down, DO NOT try to move them! They are heavy and can potentially fall back over and sustain damage.
See the pictures for before and after resetting.
