Town Residents: Public Works needs to shut off the river irrigation pump to clean the screens. Hope to have it back up and running as soon as possible.

Town of De Beque Municipal Election

The Town of De Beque will hold a Regular Municipal Election in coordination with Mesa County on Tuesday, November 3, 2026.

Nomination Petitions will be available for pick up beginning Tuesday, August 4, 2026, and must be submitted to the Town Clerk by 5:30 pm on Monday, August 24, 2026.

One Mayor seat is available:
• One 4-year term
Five Trustee seats are available:
• Three 4-year terms
• Two 2-year terms

The Town of De Beque is seeking applicants for the positions of Police Records Clerk/Evidence Custodian. Previous law enforcement records and evidence experience helpful. The Town offers a robust benefits package which includes full health, dental and vision insurance coverage paid 100% by the Town for the entire immediate family as well as a 401K matching contribution up to 5%. There is an open seat on the Planning & Zoning Commission. If you wish to serve, please submit a letter of interest to the Town of De Beque via [email protected] or drop off at Town Hall. Applicants must live within Town Limits. The next Board of Trustees meeting is July 28th at 6:00 p.m. in the De Beque Community Center at 381 Minter Avenue.

Applicants must live within town limits and have been a resident for at least one year, be over 18 years old, and be a registered voter. TOWN IRRIGATION IS CURRENTLY ON AND OFF, AS RIVER MOSS IS PLUGGING IT UP. IT IS BEING CHECKED DAILY TO AVOID THE PUMP BURNING UP.
