⚠️ WINTER WEATHER PREPARATION NOTICE ⚠️
Caddo Fire District 4 is monitoring a winter weather event expected to bring freezing temperatures, icy road conditions, and possible power outages over the next several days.
We encourage residents to prepare now and place the safety of family, neighbors, and vulnerable individuals first.
Key safety reminders:
• Check on elderly or at-risk neighbors and ensure they have a safe way to stay warm
• Prepare for potential power outages by charging devices and gathering essentials
• Keep generators outside and at least 10 feet from your home
• Never use grills, ovens, or outdoor heaters indoors
• Stay off the roads if possible, bridges and overpasses may become icy quickly
• Expect longer emergency response times as road conditions worsen
Our crews are prepared and ready to respond, but preparation by the public helps reduce emergencies and keeps responders available for critical calls.
Please continue to monitor weather updates and follow guidance from local officials.
Stay informed. Stay prepared. Stay safe.
