September Book Club books are here!

The Banned Book Club is reading The Color Purple by Alice Walker and will meet on Wednesday, September 2nd in Room C at the library. This book club meets at two different times to accommodate schedules. Join us at 12:00 p.m. or 6:30 p.m.!

The Dragonwood Readers Book Club will be reading The Devil in the White City by Erik Larson and meets Friday, September 11th at 9:30 a.m. at Cornerstone Community Center.

The Whimsical Bookworms will be reading Wandering Stars by Tommy Orange and meets Thursday, September 17th at 6:30 p.m. in Room C at the library.

The Badger Book Club will be reading When the White Pine Was King by Jerry Apps and meets Monday, September 28th at 12:00 p.m. in Room C at the library.

Chapters in Common selected Black Rocks and Rainbows by Susan Riford. Book books are available via Blackstone Unlimited. This book club meets next on Thursday, September 10th at 6pm to discuss the audiobook and select the next month’s audiobook in the Classroom at the library!

BYOB (Bring Your Own Book) Club is meeting at the DeForest Fireman's Park in September! Find us at the small shelter on September 9th at noon and September 21st at 6pm.

September 15-26th the Studio will be home to our first Houseplant Swap!

How to participate:
- Leave disease-free, pest-free houseplant cuttings (rooted or unrooted) in a jar with water (we will have containers available).
- Label your plants to the best of your ability (labels will be available).
- Take a reasonable amount of cuttings, please use a provided cup for transport.

We can't wait to see what everyone brings and help more plants find new homes!
