As many of your know, the Wisconsin Governor Candidate Forum, took place on Thursday, June 4. In addition to introducing the multiple great candidates it was a chance for members of our team to listen and visit with them. Come November we will be excited to see progressive candidates fill the state's legislature and administration!

Last Thursday, we had the pleasure to host Todd Johnson of the UW-Wisconsin Extension, speaking on how to Create a Shared Vision for Positive Community Change.

Todd was an incredible speaker and talked to us not only on how the Extension has helped communities through growth and direction issues but also offered valuable resources that we can use now in our area.
As importantly, Todd shared excellent insights into how people interact, why we often don't see eye-to-eye and how we can mutually overcome that.

Village Trustee Vacancy — Apply Now!

The Village of DeForest is currently accepting applications to fill a vacant Trustee seat.

Apply online via OnBoard (https://deforestwi.onboardgov.com/application/) (don’t forget to choose “Village Board” from the Boards & Seats menu), or request a paper form from Village Hall.

➡️Application deadline: June 5 at 2:00pm
➡️Interview Questions Due: June 16 at 12pm (noon) - Members of the public and Village Board may submit potential interview questions to the Village Administrator.
