The Bay-Lake Regional Planning Commission (BLRPC) has prepared a draft, 2024 Public Participation Plan, for the Sheboygan Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) for public review. This public participation plan is intended to describe how the BLRPC staff will, to the best of their ability, provide the opportunity for public input and understanding of transportation plans and programs to all residents of the Sheboygan metropolitan planning area, especially to those persons who have been historically underrepresented in the planning process. The plan is out for a 45-day public comment period from May 6th to June 19th.

Happy Earth Day! Here at Bay-Lake, we make it our priority to account for the enrichment and protection of the environment within every plan we create. We value safe outdoor recreation, community education, and sustainable planning as an effort to conserve the natural beauty of northeast Wisconsin. Over the past year, our environmental reach has covered much of the region we serve and continues to grow through collaborative efforts with our communities and Wisconsin Coastal Management.

Outside of the day-to-day planning, Bay-Lake staff celebrates Earth Day every day by recycling office materials, reducing single-use items, and sharing our love for plants. Collectively, we have well over 20 indoor plants around the office that create a more welcoming environment for our hard-working team!
