🍎🍐❤️ Did you know the City of De Pere has Urban Orchards?

Our Urban Orchards provide easy, free access to fresh fruit. They also provide options for local pantries, hands-on learning for schools, and volunteer opportunities for businesses and groups.

Since our first planting on Arbor Day 2016, we've added dozens of fruit trees across our community. Each orchard features 12 trees: four apple, four plum, and four pear.

🌳 De Pere Community Center/VFW (2017)
🌳 De Pere High School (2018)
🌳 Samantha Park (2018)
🌳 Foxview Intermediate School (2019)

When summer ends, a new season comes to life in fall. 🍁 In some ways, the same happens to a few of our garbage trucks, too. Upon retiring from their garbage collection days, some vehicles in our fleet find a second life helping collect leaves instead. 🍂🚛💪

Did you know the De Pere Health Department offers a FREE Community Resource Table inside De Pere City Hall? It's in our lobby at 335 S. Broadway St. and comes stocked with health/safety resources available to anyone in the community who could use a helping hand.

🎒 What’s available right now:
• Narcan
• Tick removal kits
• Gun locks
• Sexual health protection
• Medication lock boxes
• Children’s books
• Various health and community resource guides

⏰ Items are available daily during normal City Hall business hours.

Everything is FREE, thanks to grant funding. No questions asked—help yourself!
