Friendly reminder: Don’t let your time on an e-bike (or e-scooter) turn into an e-mergency. 🚴‍♂️🛴⚠️

While these devices are a fun way to enjoy the outdoors, they can reach higher speeds than traditional bikes, which means less reaction time and more severe injuries in a crash. Always wear a helmet, stay alert, and ride predictably so drivers can see you. Let’s keep De Pere safe for everyone. 🪖🚦

Also, with it being bicycle safety month, we though this e-bike guidance and classification guide for our community would be helpful!

UPDATE: The owner(s) of this vehicle have been identified. Thank you!

The De Pere Police Department is looking to identify and speak with the driver of a red Disney Cars themed Corvette that was in the area of S. Erie Street / Virginia Drive / Bomier Street on the evening of May 24, 2026 around 8:49 pm.

The car had "Lightening McQueen" themed stickers with the #95 on both doors and the rear of the car. It also had 95's on the back of the vehicle and a yellow racing stripe/lightning bolt. The Corvette was a two door with what appeared to be a black soft top. The Corvette also had multiple advertisement stickers / emblems toward the front.
