The goats have a new area to beautify along the Fox River directly in back of the Bike Hub. We utilize electronet fencing to create a small paddock where the goats safely reside at night. In the morning we will open the gate and allow the goats to graze on undesirable invasives using NoFence technology. This allows the us to target graze sensitive areas without installing an actual fence.

These Doelings are removing invasives and other non-desirable vegetation along the tributary that runs to the East River. There is so much debris in our waterways that cause dams and flooding. In addition, the stream banks erode due to the natural vegetation being displaced.

We utilize NoFence collars to keep them in the target areas. It is an amazing technology that can be used on goats, sheep and beef cattle. This allows the animal the opportunity to graze on what they want and remove the undesirables. Let me know if you would like more info on these well made, highly effective collars.

New pasture day for the moms and kids. We rotational graze our goats using Gallagher’s Smart Fence and NoFence technology. Let’s us know if you have an area that has non desirable plants/ invasives that you would like to have goats do their work.
