With our 250th celebration behind us. I wonder how the rest of our combat veterans are doing with all the fireworks.

This morning, I was notified that a marine friend of mine is no longer with us. He was an outstanding human who I am proud to say was my friend. He will be missed.

With that said,
Please do a buddy check on your brothers and sisters. You never know how they are doing. Especially a weekend of fireworks.

Kingsbury County has a new Veteran Service Officer.
My name is Travise Flisrand. I grew up in Kingsbury County and have returned a few years ago.
I look forward to helping the Veterans of Kingsbury County.

I will be in the office at the Kingsbury County Courthouse on Tuesdays from 8-4:30, unless the courthouse is closed for business (holiday / weather).

I just want to say thanks to all the veterans in Kingsbury. I had an amazing time serving all of you. I enjoyed my time helping and meeting all of you. This will be my last morning in the office.

The Community Action for Veterans hosted the Women VetsConnect Retreat where women veterans and military spouses got to network with each other, listen to speakers and learn more about resources available to them.
