Businesses could see a fee of up to $360. In October this fee should appear as a separate item to help with the confusion. Have a great day.

Recently the park department has installed Little Libraries. These nice wooden libraries were made by the KVHS students. These are places that you can take a book to read or leave a book for someone else. You can find these at Garden Park, Field of Dreams near the flag pole near the parking lot, and Spencer Park by the playground.

Recently we have discovered that a company Doxo appears to be a third-party vendor that our customers can make our utility payments. The Town of DeMotte has not set up this relationship. We are working with Invoice Cloud as our billing vendor. This is an online service where you can see your bill or may credit card payments with a small fee. There is a NO-COST option of setting up an autopay account at no extra charge. This is safe and secure and you are dealing with the town and not a third-party vendor. Follow this link if you would like a form. https://www.townofdemotte.com/sites/default/files/fileattachments/administration/page/1701/town_of_demotte_auto_pay_form.pdf

INDOT: Travel Information

When will it ever stop! We are expected to get up to 10 inches of snow. Please be careful on the roads. Our snowplow crew is out right now but will have to take a break later today to get some rest. If you don't have to go out, stay home.

Please help our drivers by:

1. Do not park on the street.
2. Make sure the hydrant in your yards can be accessed.
3. Do not put snow on the roadways. This makes it more hazardous.
4. When you see the plow drivers give them a wave and thumbs up. How would you like it if once you clear a road, mother nature puts more back?
