of the same name. This page documents the activities and ideas of John Bierma. John Bierma has an intense interest in the ancient cultures that populated North America. I study the mounds, stone circles, and cairns that were built by these cultures. In particular, I am interested in the Copper Culture that mined the copper pits in upper Michigan, Wisconsin, and Minnesota.

These cultures understood the solar wind and how it interacted with telluric earth currents and placed their structures over magnetic anomalies in the earth's surface that intensified and in some manner manipulated this energy. Sites were also based on celestial orientation in relationship to eath other. The true geological history of North America also is explored with a focus on the Nipissing Transgressions. Many people like to think the stone wall like structures on Beaver Island, Michigan were made by Mormon farmers in the 1800s. But the dilemma is that these walls on land extend under water on the west side of the island. You can see how far they extend above water from the shore in the nautical chart below. Then they do not stop but continue far out into deeper water. The last time in history that water level in Lake Michigan was below current levels was before the post glacial Nipissing Transgressions, about 9000 years ago or 7000 BC. So if they are man made (some people believe glaciers made them ha,ha, ha), they are concurrent with those under Lake Huron on the Abernathy Ridge. Those are theorized as caribou ,bison or wooly mammoth hunting drive structure. The other dilemma is that 300 year old slow growth red maples have grown up in the walls, predating Mormon farming.
