Our Explorers had a great time supporting the Back-to-School Backpack Giveaway! 🎒📚

Backpacks, school supplies, and plenty of smiles made this event a great success. We’re proud to be out in the community helping our students start the school year strong!

Today, the Explorers worked on their public speaking skills. Each Explorer was given a random word with no advance notice and challenged to speak about it for two minutes.

It was a great exercise that pushed them to think on their feet, organize their thoughts, and speak confidently in front of others. These types of activities build confidence, improve communication skills, and prepare them for real-life situations where they may have to speak without preparation.

Great job to all of our Explorers for stepping outside their comfort zones!

Congratulations to Batoul Rkain, Mahdi Diab, Hassan Hammoud, and Ali Basma on successfully completing their probationary period and officially becoming members of the Dearborn Heights Police Explorers!
