Today we’re saying bye to Celeste 🫶

Our Health Communications Specialist and a fellow from our second cohort, Celeste has been such a big part of how we show up and connect with our community. She brought her creativity and care to everything she did.

We’re so grateful for all she’s done and can’t wait to see what she does next 🤍

Autistic people deserve care, support, and acceptance from their community, so in honor of Autism Awareness and Acceptance Month, we wanted to share some facts with everyone about autism.

Autism is a developmental disability which affects the way they experience the world around them. It’s a normal part of life and makes people who they are.

Autistic people have always existed— but due to cultural stigma, barriers to care, and myths behind it many people go without formal diagnosis. This includes people of color, adults, and women.

There is no one-size-fits-all for autism, because everyone experiences it differently. But no matter what, all autistic people deserve acceptance, support, and understanding.
