Suzanne has been a CASA Advocate for six months.

She first learned about CASA through social media and felt called to become an advocate because of her passion for helping children. Suzanne believes every child deserves to feel seen, valued, and supported, especially during difficult times.
Her favorite part of being an advocate is providing encouragement, stability, and a voice for children who may not otherwise have one.

๐Ÿ“Š 47% attended two or more schools in a single school year
๐Ÿ“Š Only 2โ€“9% of youth formerly in foster care earn a college degree
๐Ÿ“Š 16% receive out-of-school suspension at more than 3x the rate of other students

Weโ€™re incredibly grateful to our CASA of Wise & Jack Counties Board of Directors for taking the time to come together for a board retreat!

Our board plays an important role in guiding CASA, supporting our mission, strengthening our organization, and helping ensure we can continue advocating for children and families in our community.

The retreat was a valuable opportunity to step away from the day-to-day, learn, discuss our goals, and look toward the future of CASA.
