New V**e Disposal Bins Expand Safe Disposal Options in Van Buren County
Van Buren County is taking another step toward protecting our community members and promoting healthier communities with the installation of three new disposal bins for electronic ni****ne delivery systems (ENDS), commonly known as v**es. The bins provide residents with a safe and convenient way to dispose of used or unwanted va**ng devices, helping reduce access to discarded ni****ne products and encouraging responsible disposal.
The new v**e disposal bins are located at:
Van Buren ISD Administration Building, 490 S. Paw Paw St., Lawrence, MI 49064
Paw Paw District Library, 609 W. Michigan Ave., Paw Paw, MI 49079
Bangor City Police Department, 414 Division St, Bangor, MI 49013
The initiative reflects a collaborative partnership between the Van Buren Conservation District, Van Buren Intermediate School District, Van Buren/Cass District Health Department, Van Buren Substance Abuse Task Force, Van Buren Domestic Violence Coalition, City of Bangor, and the Paw Paw District Library.
By providing safe disposal locations, community partners hope to reduce opportunities for youth to encounter discarded va**ng devices while reinforcing the message that ni****ne products should be handled and disposed of responsibly.
Community members are encouraged to bring disposable v**es, rechargeable va**ng devices, pods, cartridges, and other electronic ni****ne delivery systems to the secure collection bins. The materials collected will be managed through appropriate recycling and disposal methods.
The project highlights how collaboration among education, public health, environmental, and community organizations can create practical solutions that benefit the entire county.
