FREE School Uniform Programs. You can contact or visit the following organizations directly/walk-ins without waiting for a school official and other req referral/appt. For additional information, please contact the organization directly.

•Toco Hill Community: Located at 1790 Lavista Rd They operate their clothing closet on Fridays from 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM. They serve the first 36 families in line each week. You do not need a pre-approved application just show up early with a valid ID and proof of DeKalb residency.

•Saint Philip AME Church: Located at 240 Candler Rd, Atlanta, GA 30317. They host an open community clothing closet every Monday from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

*St. Vincent de Paul Georgia (Family Success Center): Located at 2050 Chamblee Tucker Rd, Chamblee, GA
You can apply directly by calling their intake line at (678) 892-6163 to receive clothing and uniform vouchers for their thrift centers.
**REFERRAL REQUIRED**/Appointments

*Assistance League of Atlanta (Op School Bell): Located at 3534 Broad St, Chamblee, GA 30341. This program provides a large package containing 5 brand-new polo shirts, 2 pants or skirts, socks, underwear, and a jacket. You cannot apply directly: you must ask your child's DeKalb school social worker to submit a digital referral.

*Threads Children's Closet: Located at 657 Ponce De Leon Ave NE, Atlanta, GA 30308. They provide a full week of free school uniforms, shoes, and standard supplies for kids ages 0-12. They host private weekend shopping appointments for families once a school counselor or DFCS worker submits an electronic referral. DCSD Family & Comm. Engmt (FACE) Closets: Run directly by the DCSD They maintain centralized closets with standard uniform colors (navy, light blue, white, khaki). You can ask your school's Parent Liaison to request items from the district FACE closet, or email them at

The Teacher's Closet is a non profit organization/second hand store in East Point. They provide clothes for teachers! You get to pick out three COMPLETE outfits once a month... FOR FREE! They take clothing, jewelry/ accessories, bags, and shoe donations! They need to be in good condition. They are open on Saturday from 10a-2p.
