We are both anxious and excited to get our new Training Facility fully operational! This state-of-the-art facility will allow us to run numerous, realistic training scenarios for our firefighters, as well as our invaluable Mutual Aid Partners.

A massive thank you to the Howard G. Buffett Foundation for funding a portion of this project and investing in the safety of our communities. We also want to thank Forge Fire & Company for designing this NFPA Certified Training Facility—ensuring our team trains on the highest industry standards.

Two Members of the Harristown Fire Protection District attended Building Comprehension For The Fire Service by Jeff Lattz today held at the Kenney Fire Department. Members from Harristown, Hickory Point Fire Protection District, South Wheatland, Maroa Fire Department, Latham Volunteer Fire and Rescue, Wapella Fire Department, Warrensburg Fire Protection District, Lisbon Seward and Chicago attended.
